Our Story
Founded in 1898 in a small workshop in Wandsworth, Lund Bros and Co Ltd has grown and evolved significantly over the years. Pioneering the use of CNC technology in the 1940s and 50s, we quickly established ourselves as leaders in the sheet metal machining industry. This innovation drove us to seek larger premises, leading to our relocation to Rustington in the mid-1960s, where we still operate today.
Our expansion has resulted in the acquisition of six factory units within the Brookside Trading Estate, each dedicated to specific aspects of our business. The original building houses our main sheet manufacturing operations, including folding, laser cutting, and small assemblies. Additionally, it contains our design and programming offices, as well as our 3D scanning and printing facility.
Building 5 serves as our welding facility, while Unit 1 is dedicated to general fabrication, handling mild steel architectural and structural steelwork. Units 5 and 6 focus on our simulator works, and Unit 3 is designated for heavy and large assembly projects. We also have a purpose-built paint and powder coating facility.
